As a Spanish chef with a knack for finding hidden culinary gems, my recent stay at Habitación Familiar was a pleasant surprise. the warmth of the staff and the cozy Spanish-speaking environment made it a delightful spot to practice the language while exploring Madrid. the location, just a stone's throw away from Puerta de Toledo, was ideal for both city explorations and quick getaways to the south of Spain. While the owner's hospitality was slightly chaotic, the clean and well-heated rooms ensured a comfortable stay, even in the chilly April evenings. For the budget-conscious traveler seeking a convenient base with storage options and easy communication, Habitación Familiar is a worthwhile choice. However, if you're willing to splurge a bit, exploring other options for a more luxurious experience might be worth considering.
